Step-by-Step Instructions
- Log into dashboard.clover.com with Admin credentials. Navigate to Setup > Receipt.
- Under 'Business Information,' verify your business name, address, and phone number are correct — this information appears on every receipt.
- To add a logo: click 'Upload Logo.' Use a PNG or JPG file with a transparent background. Recommended minimum size: 300x300 pixels.
- To add a custom header or footer message: enter a welcome message (header) and a thank-you or promotional message (footer) in the respective fields.
- Enable or disable receipt elements: tip line, signature line, itemized list, tax breakdown. Toggle each option appropriate for your business type.
- For digital receipts: ensure the customer's email or phone number is collected at checkout. Digital receipts automatically use the same design as printed receipts.
- Save settings and print a test receipt to verify the final layout.
📌 Important Note: Receipt customization applies to all Clover devices linked to your account. Changes take effect within a few minutes of saving — no device restart required.
